1961

1. The notice given by Shri. C.G. Janardhanan expressing want of confidence in the P.S.P. Ministers Shri. Pattom A. Thanu Pillai, Shri. K. Chandresekharan and Shri. D. Damodaran Potti, was ruled as out of order on June
26, 1961 by Hon. Speaker on the ground that the notice was not in conformity with the Rules.
2. On June 27th, 1961 the House granted leave to Shri. C.G. Janardhanan to move the following motion.
"This Assembly expresses its want of confidence in the council of Ministers headed by Shri. Pattom A. Thanu Pillai." The motion was discussed and put to vote on 28th June 1961. 30 members voted for the motion, 86 members voted against while one remained as neutral. The motion was declared as lost.

1962

3. On October 10, 1962 the House granted Leave to Shri C. Achutha Menon, to move the following motion:-
"This House expresses it want of confidence in the council of Ministers headed by Shri. R. Sankar".
The motion was discussed and put to vote on October 11th, 1962. 29 Members voted for the motion, 78 Members voted against and 11 Members remained as neutrals.
The motion was declared as lost.

4. Leave was granted to Shri. C. Achutha Menon on September 11, 1963 to move the following motion:-
"This House expresses its want of confidence in the Council of Ministers headed by Shri. R. Sankar."
Discussion took place on 19th and 20th September, 1963; and the motion was put to vote. 45 Members voted for, 65 members voted against and 8 members remained as neutrals.
The motion was declared as lost.

5. On 3rd September 1964 the House granted leave to Shri. P.K. Kunju to move the following motion:-
"I move that the House expresses its want of confidence in the council of Ministers headed by Shri. R. Sankar, Chief Minister."
The motion was discussed on 7th and 8th September 1964 and was put to vote. 73 Members voted for the motion and 50 Members voted against it.
The motion was declared as carried.
