Son of Shri Kunjuvareed and Smt. Elachar; born on 17 July 1903; Wife: Kathreena; 3 Sons, 4 Daughters.        

Post Graduate; Professor, author and critic.

Minister for Education & Co-operation from 05-04-1957 to 31-07-1959. 

First Vice Chancellor, Cochin University; Member, World Peace Council, Kendra Sahithya Academy, Kerala Sahithya Academy, Kerala Planning Board.

Recipient of titles 'Sahithyakusala' and 'Sahithya Nipuna' from His Highness the Maharaja of Cochin.
Editor : 'Navajeevan' and 'Prajamithram' dailies.

Publications : 'Professor', 'Konthayil ninnu Kurisilekku', 'China-forward', 'Vayanasalayil', 'Manushya kathanugayikal' and autobiography 'Kozhinja Ilakal'.

Expired on 25-10-1977; Obituary made on 09-02-1978.
