Graduate, BA(Hons.); Author and Journalist.

Chairman, Library Advisory Committee (1957-59). 

Chairman,Kerala State Film Development Corporation, Press Academy; Member, Kerala and Calicut University Syndicates; Joined Quit India Movement and went underground till 1946; Executive Committee Member, AISF; Imprisoned in 1946 and 1949-50; Was a Congress Worker before joining CPI in  1945; Chief Editor "Deshabhimani" Daily.

Publications :  'Kerala Navodhanam and Marxist  Soundarya Sastram’ and many other volumes.
